Biography
MICHAEL MARSILIO
President
Michael began his restaurant career over 27 years ago, working in the heart of New York City in the late 90’s. Born and raised on Long Island, he gravitated towards the industry at a very young age due to the exposure of a friend whose family had been in the business for 40 years. He worked his way up starting as a floor manager for a small business owner in Hell’s Kitchen and Greenwich Village then moved on to work in several executive management positions for both private and publically traded companies. Initially holding the Director of Food & Beverage position, he advanced to the position of Senior Operations Director for a New York based multi-unit national casual dining group with over 20 locations throughout the tri-state area as well as locations in Dallas, Chicago and Las Vegas. He has also worked as a General Manager for the Alicart restaurant group which owns the famous Italian family style Carmine’s brand as well as the Virgil’s Real Barbeque brand with locations in New York, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Washington DC and the Bahamas. He then moved on to a Managing Director roll located in the W Hotel in New York’s infamous Times Square for Landry’s a publically traded international hospitality, lodging & gaming group based out of Houston. Continuing his work in hotels, he took on a multi-outlet Operations & Food and Beverage Director position with the Pyramid Hotel Group, a Boston Based International Hotel Management Group servicing brands such as Marriott, Renaissance, Le Meridian, Hilton, Double Tree and several Boutique Brands.
His passion for the Hospitality Industry is evident through his leadership, dedication and strong work ethic. Michael’s love for food and customer service has inspired him to continue his career in utilizing his experience and skills he has gained over the years to provide specialized services for small business owners and restaurateurs alike. Michael has been able to help and improve businesses by providing owners the ability to turn around struggling operations and generate success.
